Speech Pathologist

Krista Woolston

Krista loves making therapy fun and enjoyable, and has been known to enjoy games played as much as the clients themselves. She believes therapy should be engaging, meaningful, and tailored to build strong relationships with both clients and their families.

Her journey into speech pathology was shaped by years of caring for children with special needs, providing firsthand insight into the daily challenges and triumphs families experience. This fuels her passion for helping every individual find their voice—whether through spoken language, alternative communication methods, or literacy support. Her expertise includes speech sound disorders, fluency challenges, language and social communication difficulties, and literacy development—always adapting her approach to each person’s unique strengths and needs.

Krista finds joy in the small but powerful moments: seeing a child light up when mastering a new skill, hearing a first word spoken, or witnessing the growing confidence of those she supports. She deeply believes communication is at the heart of connection and is dedicated to helping her clients express themselves in ways meaningful to them.

Outside of work, Krista is happiest surrounded by laughter—whether with family and friends, exploring new places, or enjoying the outdoors. You’ll find her soaking up sunshine at the beach, adventuring in the outback, or simply appreciating the beauty of the world around her.
