The session will begin with introductions, allowing you to meet your clinician. Together, you will engage in an intake session, where your psychologist or speech pathologist will ask questions to gain a better understanding of you or your child’s needs. This information will help in setting specific goals for therapy. They will address any questions or concerns you may have and explain the boundaries of confidentiality and ethical guidelines. Your first session is an opportunity to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship and collaboratively embark on your journey towards personal growth and well-being.

  • Our sessions are 50 minutes in length.

  • The duration of therapy sessions varies for each individual and depends on several factors. Factors such as the nature of your concerns, your goals, your commitment to the therapeutic process, and your progress will influence the length of therapy. Some individuals may find that a few sessions are sufficient to address their immediate needs, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Your clinician will regularly assess your progress and collaborate with you to determine the most appropriate duration for your therapy.

  • Yes we do - from children, adolescents to adults!

  • Yes, in addition to our clinic, we also provide the convenience of both home visits and online therapy sessions via secure video conferencing. This allows you to choose the option that suits your preferences and comfort level.

  • Assessment sessions are not covered under a GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). A GP MHCP provides up to 10 intervention sessions per calendar year but does not include funding for diagnostic assessments.

    For autism assessments, a paediatrician or psychiatrist can provide a referral under the Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Eligible Disabilities program, which may qualify for a Medicare rebate. More information is available at:

    If you have an NDIS plan, we recommend obtaining written confirmation to ensure that assessments are covered before proceeding.

  • No. We do not provide assessments or reports for court purposes, including the Children's Court, as these are outside the scope of our psychologists' practice.

  • Yes, we offer services for those with self-managed and plan managed NDIS plans.

  • The first session is primarily for gathering background information and will mostly involve parents or caregivers. Your child is encouraged to attend, however to help keep them engaged, feel free to bring a favourite toy, book, or iPad.

    During the initial session the therapist will let you know the structure of the sessions moving forward.

  • Yes, we see client’s who have a mental health care plan from their GP. Client's who have a mental health care plan are eligible for a medicare rebate of $96.65 for 10 sessions within a calendar year.

  • Yes, we can provide a paid invoice for you to submit to your insurance company to claim a rebate. Please note that eligibility for a rebate and the amount reimbursed depend on your insurance company and your level of coverage.

    1. Emergency Services:
